Challenge
For Azul, I was on a team of 6 people and we decided to make a game based on a peacock. As part of the design team, I was tasked with helping to make mechanicians for a platforming peacock. As a lead sound designer, I needed to make jungle-like sounds as well as a fun jungle beat.
Solution
Throughout the design process, I took part in design meetings and helped to design the game. This included level design, mechanics, and story implications. For sound, I really tried to make the jungle seem vibrant and fun. I designed most of the sound effects to be fun and down-to-earth. A lot of my sounds aren't in the final build because a programmer forgot to implement them, but you can check them out in the sounds section of my portfolio.
